I support practitioners, volunteers and organisations in rethinking their work, in the belief that no one is merely the recipient of help.

For twenty years I have worked on poverty, community development, volunteering, relational and anti-oppressive social work. I offer research, training, consulting and supervision to public bodies, third-sector organisations, church-based organisations and universities. I hold a PhD in Social Work and Personal Social Services.
